Fannie Mae Specific Documents
These are the common Fannie Mae documents that you may need through the course of your transaction.
- The Fannie Mae Purchase Addendum is REQUIRED with submission of your initial offer. Fannie Mae will not accept an offer without it. Please fill in the the document and include it with your offer. If your buyer comes to terms with the seller, then update the document as appropriate with those final terms and send the entire contract package to me to send to FNMA for Corporate Approval.
- The Fannie Mae Amendment is the document you will use for extensions or changes to any terms after contract ratification. NOTE THAT FANNIE MAE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE NVAR AMENDMENT FORM. YOU MUST USE THIS FORM.
- The Fannie Mae Notice of Termination is their specific form. In the case that your contract is terminated, you would need to complete and return BOTH this form and the NVAR termination form. Fannie Mae only requires their form, but the NVAR form is often required by your broker.
- The Fannie Mae Owner Occupant Certification Rider is to be added to the contract for ALL offers when the buyer is stated to be the Owner Occupant. Offers will not be submitted without this document.
